Visual identity for Lees Lokaal, Uitgeest. Founded in 2016 as a fully-fledged alternative to the traditional library, which was closed due to loss of subsidies. The mission of Lees Lokaal: to promote reading by students, an alternative to the library for all ages and a center for social activities. We designed a strong corporate identity, with a logo that focuses on the strength and importance of this educational, social and cultural center. The initials of the name together form the space in which the local community comes together to read, learn and meet.
